★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Offer traditional Javanese food. They provide buffet package for rice and four choices for meals for 12k. I got sayur lodeh, tempe orek, friend noodle, and sayur papaya. You could order another meal though, like chicken, fish, mendoan, etc.
The taste is so so. The ambiance is great for having lunch/dinner with families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is located at the left/westside of jalan Magelang, approximately 300m to the north of ring road junction, so make sure you aren't driving through the flyover. Should drive slowly because the restaurant isn't easy to find, no clear sign of it. Car parking area is so huge. This huge restaurant serve local/traditional kind of foods, In my opinion, as a pure Javanese guy, most of the food is so tasty, and the prices are reasonable. The building design is'joglo', no walls at all. Love to be back again, someday . . . . .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Orders are opened at 9 am. If you arrive earlier, they welcome you in but you still have to wait till 9 to order. The place is spacious, nice and green, with several gazebos, making it ideal for large groups. Parking space is also pretty large. The place has a joglo style, open on all sides, but it felt kind of dark/dim even during the day (gazebos have better lighting). The menu isnt that varied but quite tasty. The chicken and lodeh were nice.They have this weird emphasis on only 1 plate per customer (for rice and vegie dish). Apparently separate plates are charged separately. They give a flat rate (12k when i was there) for rice and vegetable dish, all you can eat , but use the same plate! Lol. Oh, don't be surprised when the waiters/waitresses give you a shout out when you walk in... A sort of welcome greeting, something they do to all incoming customers, which i actually found a little annoying after a couple of shouts :-/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place. This place is conceptualized as an authentic traditional that will bring us chilhood memories. If you miss your chilhood this place is good to go. The food here was good like their 'sayur lodeh' and 'brongkos'. You pay certain amounts and you may pick rice and vegetables dishes as much as you like and you order side dishes for a certain amount for a certain price. This place is really good to eat-in especially if you were in a long journey, this place is a must visit. I will be back for more.
