★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This resto serves Betawi Traditional food, which main menu is Sayur Asem (sour soup of vegetables).
They will show us what kind of side dishes we would take to accompany the rice and sayur asem. There's many variation of the side dish menu, from fried chicken, fish, soya cake, tofu etc.
They also have traditional beverage like bir pletok, a drink made from ginger extract.
It's quite recommended for one who's not in diet and in the hungry mode.
Btw the chili sauce is amazing! Hmmm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My very first time looking for lunch at joglo raya street. Trying sayur asem Betawi for the first time (a little different with sayur asem Jawa) but the taste was good.
In a bowl of sayur asem, you can find eggplant, chayote, bitter melon, sweet corn, long beans, peanuts with it's shell ?, slices of jengkol, etc. Their sambel terasi was amazing!
*psst, you can refill the rice
