Berlokasi di desa Cangkring, Kecamatan Sadang, embung ini merupakan embung tertinggi yang ada di Kabupaten Kebumen. Terletak paling tinggi dan tepat bersebelahan dengan batas wilayah Kabupaten Kebumen dengan Kebupaten Wonosobo.
Untuk menuju embung ini, rute yang dilalui cukup mudah, meskipun terdapat jalan yang agak rusak, tapi masih bisa dilakui denhan mudah, baik oleh kendaraan roda 2 maupun kendaraan roda 4. Butuh sekitar 1 jam perjalanan (motor) dari pusat Kebumen (alun-alun)
Saat masuk lokasi wisata ini, anda akan dikenakan tarif tiket masuk seharga Rp.5000,- dan parkir seharga Rp.2000,-, total Rp.7000,-.
Fasilitas yang terdapat di lokasi wisata ini:
Kantin, Musholah, Gazebo, Toilet, Gardu Pandang dan beberapa ayunan.
Suasana nyaman dan sangat asri. Pemandangan landschaap atau bentang alam Sadang sangat rugi untuk dilewatkan.
Cangkring Embung, is one of the reservoirs in Sadang District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province.
Located in Cangkring village, Sadang District, this reservoir is the highest reservoir in Kebumen Regency. It is located at the highest level and right next to the border between Kebumen Regency and Wonosobo Regency.
To get to this reservoir, the route is quite easy, although there are roads that are a bit damaged, but it can still be done easily, both by 2-wheeled vehicles and 4-wheeled vehicles. It takes about 1 hour of travel (motorcycle) from the center of Kebumen (alun-alun). )
