★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't let their humble facade and decor discourage you from entering and feasting in one of what I consider as the best sushi joint in Jakarta.
Fresh sashimi in just the right thickness, nigiri sushi moriawase with the chef's personal touch and a complete line-up of Japanese comfort dishes, in all its authenticity, all for us to savor, will satisfy your cravings.
The custom sushi platter photo can sum it all up for you. UMAKU sushi wa UMAi!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly a hidden gem!! Come in odd hours and smaller party will help cut your waiting time cause they limit 2 customers per table. Food was very good and price is just right. Sashimi was very fresh. Great job, Umaku!! ??? definitely will come bcak to try other dishes!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of Bintaro's hidden gem. It doesn't look special from the outside and the place is pretty small. But the food is exceptional ? everything is fresh, well cooked, and tasty! just beware that you need to wait for a long time in peak hour, so coming outside peak hour in smaller group are advised.
My favorite menus are:
1. Sashimi
standard but all of the raw fishes here are fresh, nothing smells fishy at all. so its safe to order some sashimi you never tried before. the portion size is pretty huge as well.
2. Scallop Tobiko Yaki
a perfectly cooked scallop but the smaller chunks tends to get overcooked. the taste are pure heaven tho. the mayo are lighter than regular mayo I guess, so its more delightful to consume. The portion is great too, you can justborder one for two person.
3. Noodles
Udon and ramen is also good ? I especially loved their udon, the soup are refreshing and tasty while the udon are satisfyingly chewy.

This place really got a lot of menu to choose.
Choose wisely, it mau get you addicted like the scallop. All and all for under 300k.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ totally worth the try!! found this resto through IG and went there right away. there was no waiting list when I got there (Sunday at 11.30 AM).
I ordered Scallop Grill Tobiko, Sake Chazuke, Sakura Roll, Saba Sushi, and Kare Udon (the total was Rp368k, plus 2 cold Ocha).
all of the dish were 5/5, except for the Kare Udon was 3/5. those 5/5 dishes were rich of taste, the portion was more than enough, and totally worth the price. Unfortunately, the Kare Udon was so-so (compared to the others). the curry was kinda bland and poor of components. however, the udon texture was so good.
if you’re looking for a decent Japanese dish, here’s the right place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best sushi place in Jabodetabek haha yes.. too bad they are located not in Jakarta area, I ate in Cibubur&Bintaro branch. The Bintaro is more crowded but the service is fast we waited for more than an hour before our turn though I went there at 2 pm. The cibubur is less crowded though my experience might be bias since I went there 11am.. but either way I had a pleasure eating here, the sushi is phenomenal and the price is so worth it. Their food is so fresh every bite will worth in your mouth. My ultimate must order menu are: crunchy roll, salmon temari aburi, and volcano roll.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Bintaro. All of the menu is almost perfect good. I like it. When you come here, don't forget to get the queue number first on the table that is located in the right of entry door. You have to queue if you come here. You're allowed to order for 1 time only. The reason is another people can enjoy their foods too. The price of the foods I think the same like when you come to Sushi Hero or Sushi Tei. You're worth it to wait!!!
