β β β β β simply amazing!
everything that I ordered were delicious!
the sangria cava was very nice, the fish and prawns were fresh (I really liked the prawn and would recommend this to anyone), the jamon iberico has successfully satisfied my craving for a tasty jamon iberico. Definitely will come here again to try the other menu!
Oh, and the Chef was very friendly and helped us in choosing the food, plus I like the atmosphere in the restaurant which makes me really enjoy my lunch. Overall, it was a really nice dining experience.

β β β β β Absolutely loved dinner here. From the moment you walk in through this giant glass door, you experience something magical. Truly loved the pintxos that were served. From the Iberico acorn fed-ham, to the unexpected briny, spicy, and sour Gilda (King of Pintxos), I was introduced to a variety of flavors. Loved the grilled Australian beef. But the coolest thing was the welcoming nature of Chef Oskar. He personally came out to tell us about his dishes and wanted to get to know us, his customers. Thatβs quite rare these days. Iβll be back for sure.

β β β β β All in all a great experience, Spanish food, great ambience and location is very convenient. You donβt have to enter into a tiny narrow parking in a building.
Food was yumm, in my view slightly over priced for some items but worths it.

β β β β β Interested to dine in at Txoko because many recommend it.
First thing, the ambience of the place is pleasant, we came during lunch, the place is not too big, but comfortable , sadly there was less privacy because each table is close from one another and during that time there was a group of businessman and they were noisy and loud.
Service is definitely 5 star, the waitress are quick and informative, also friendly and helpful.
For the dish, we receive two complimentary , the first is appetizer, small biscuit like texture with wasabi and seafood cream inside, interesting taste.
We ordered seafood paella (main dish) and seaweed and squid ink croquet (appetizer).
The croquet is nice, but Not all people could like this. Both croquet filled with different taste, the seaweed taste like a umami cream, while the squid ink more of seafood taste but not fishy which is good. Both serve above black rice something which add texture of crunch. The croquet dough has a hint of umami, but more like bland. I would have to say, this is not my liking, but kinda interesting.
Seafood paella, i never had paella before, lot of ppl recommend txoko paella after reading the review, so I had high expectation.
Portion are enough for two, generous with seafood squid prawn fish, and they are cook perfectly (for the seafood).
I have to say, paella and risotto resembles a lot, and I don't really like risotto, which is sad.
The texture is like risotto, and some of the rice had a hint of undercook (?) kinda still hard, but I guess that whats make paella had many textures? For someone like me that adores strong taste food, this is dish taste bland for me. Had a hint of savory, serve with sour creme and lemon helps adding more taste though. They give us complementary cookies set for dessert serve in a box, it is nice.
Overall txoko is a pleasant restaurant, with a welcoming homey excellent service . But not all people could like the taste of the dish, it's all back with preference.

β β β β β I was craving for a decent paella and found this gem!
Ordered their tuna tataki, garlic shrimp, grilled octopus, black paella, and sangria.
The tuna was seared perfectly, mixed with tiny cuts of jalapeΓ±o, tomato puree, panacota, and black olives bits..the combination was perfect, daring but still well balanced.
The shrimp was freshly torched and seasoned in front of you! Seemed very simple, but the taste is quite a class!
The grilled octopus was de-li-ci-ous!!!! Veeeery soft, seasoned well, no fishy smell, and the sauce was made of 5 different mushrooms. The texture of the sauce waa perfect, not runny, and still has a bite of mushroom bits.
The black paella was tasty, the toppings were generous.
The sangria was such effort! They made it look so pretty!
Overall, the food here are delicious, the portions are generous, the plating is such a state of art.
The service was amazing, the chef and the floor crews are super nice and friendly!
You'll get complimentary bread for starters and little finger desserts for after meal.
Will definitely be back for more :)
