Mengingatkan kita pada keluhuran dan nama besar Jenderal Sudirman sebagai Pahlawan Nasional Indonesia, yang memimpin revolusi Indonesia yang tak gentar melawan penjajah Belanda yang berusaha kembali setelah proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia. Semoga adanya patung ini akan mengingatkan kita untuk meneladani beliau yang rela berkorban demi tanah air, yang hidup matinya untuk tanah air tercinta, Indonesia, yang seluruh darah, sakit, dan keringatnya untuk Indonesia
The statue of respect stands firmly on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman in the city of Tangerang, precisely at the fork in the Jalan Benteng Betawi with Jend Sudirman. It reminds us of the nobility and great name of General Sudirman as the Indonesian National Hero, who led the Indonesian revolution which was not afraid of the Dutch invaders who tried to return after the proclamation of Indonesian independence. Sosok Jenderal Sudirman digambarkan berdiri kokoh menghormat dan kepala sedikit mendongak ke atas untuk memberi kesan dinamis. Karena berdiri di tengah kawasan yang penuh dengan beragam aktivitas, patung sengaja didesain sederhana dan tidak memerlukan banyak rincian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Patung Panglima Besar Soedirman memberi teladan pada kita bahwa beliau tidak mengenyam pendidikan militer yang mendalam namun strategi militer terutama perang gerilya diakui secara Internasional. Patung terletak di tempat yang startegis tidak jauh dari Stasiun Tanah Tinggi. Tinggi kuramg lebih lima meter. Mudah terlihat saat berkendara dengan kecepatan normal.
The statue of Panglima Besar Soedirman set an example for us that he did not receive a deep military education but that his military strategy, especially guerrilla warfare is internationally recognized. The statue is located in a strategic place not far from Tanah Tinggi Station. The height is more than five meters. Easily visible when driving at normal speed.
