★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tempatnya menarik apalagi jalan menuju tugu yang masih asri, cocok buat tujuan spot foto para pesepeda. Tapi selebihnya, tidak ada yang bisa dinikmati lagi sayangnya...kurang terawat dan tidak ada apa2 lagi.
The place is interesting, especially the road to the monument which is still beautiful, suitable for photo spots for cyclists. But the rest, there's nothing to enjoy anymore, unfortunately...not well-maintained and nothing else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tugu Dandang diambil dari nama mata air Si Dandang yamg ada diarea persawahan dekat monumen tugu ini. Tugu Dandang terbuat dari rangka besi yang dilapisi plat tembaga yang ditopang oleh bangunan yang dibuat dari batu andasit lengkap dengan empat jalur anak tangga yan dihiasi ornamen patung sehingga bangunan ini menyerupai sebuah candi. Disampingnya ada amphi theatre. Dahulu tujuan didirikannya tempat ini salah satunya sebagai sarana tempat pentas kebudayaan rakyat setempat. Tugu ini didirikan pada tahun 1996. Semenjak terjadi krisis pada tahun 1998, perlahan-lahan masyarakat mulai meninggalkan tugu ini sebagai tempat berkegiatan. Lama-kelamaan tempat ini semakin tidak terurus dengan banyaknya tumbuhan liar yang tidak terawat disekitarnya. Ditambah dengan aksi vandalisme dan pencurian lapisan tembaga oleh orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab membuat miris siapapun yang melihat tugu ini. Semoga tumbuh kesadaran dalam diri kita semua untuk bersama-sama merawat fasilitas umum yang telah disediakan oleh pemerintah agar dapat tetap bermanfaat bagi kita bersama.
Tugu Dandang is taken from the name Si Dandang spring which is in the rice field area near this monument. Tugu Dandang is made of an iron frame covered with copper plates which is supported by a building made of andasite stone complete with four stairways decorated with statue ornaments so that this building resembles a temple. Next to it is the amphi theater. In the past, the purpose of establishing this place was one of the means for performing local folk culture. This monument was founded in 1996. Since the crisis occurred in 1998, people slowly began to leave this monument as a place of activity. Over time, this place is getting more and more neglected with the large number of untreated wild plants around it. Coupled with acts of vandalism and stealing of copper layers by irresponsible people, it makes anyone who sees this monument sad. Hopefully there will be awareness in all of us to jointly care for the public facilities provided by the government so that they can continue to be of benefit to us together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sebenernya bagus sayang kurang terawat banyak di tumbuhi semak2 pas dandangnya ada bagian yg di ambil orang tidak bertanggung jawab kalau di rawat bisa untuk hunting foto karena daerah sekitarnya masih asri.
It's actually good, unfortunately, it's not well-maintained, a lot of it is overgrown with bushes, when the corrugated part is taken, irresponsible people, if it's taken care of, can be used for photo hunting because the surrounding area is still beautiful.
