★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seneng bgt pake travel buddies. Bulan lalu ke Peucang dan dpt view yg bagusss bgt. Tour leader nya jg asik bgt sih parah. Respon admin pas mau booking pun bagus bgt. Ada apa² langsung dikabarin. Hasil dokumentasinya jg bagus, jd bisa dipake buat update feed IG deh hehe. Gak nyesel pokoknya pake jasa Travel Buddies. Next bakal pake lg sih. Thankyou Travel Buddies ??
I really enjoy using travel buddies. Last month I went to Peucang and got a really good view. The tour leader is also really cool, really bad. The admin's response when I want to book is also very good. Anything is immediately reported. The documentation is also good, so it can be used to update the IG feed, hehe. I don't regret using the Travel Buddies service. Next time I will use it again. Thankyou Travel Buddies

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saya dan teman saya adalah peserta open trip Derawan 10-12 Sep 2021 (derawan only, tanpa jumlah minimum peserta). Pertimbangan panjang untuk memilih Travel Buddies karena PPKM dan kami ingin open trip 09-12 sep 2021 (labuan cermin + derawan, dengan minimum peserta 10 orang).
Kami diinfokan bahwa jumlah peserta trip Derawan totalnya ada 10 orang. Senang donk karena akhirnya trip Labuan Cermin + Derawan bisa jalan, tapi ternyata zonk. Trip yang berjalan adalah 3D2N atau 10-12 sep 2021 dengan alasan peserta lainnya menggunakan trip 3D2N.
Menjelang H-1 pelaksanaan open trip, tidak ada pembuatan grup WA. Kita yang aktif bertanya dan minta no TL (tour leader). Pihak Travel Buddies sangat slow respon baik melalui WA, telp, ataupun IG. Akhirnya di malam hari kami mendapat no Bapak Farad dan diinfokan adalah TL.
Namun ternyata, Travel buddies tidak baik dalam berkoordinasi. 10 orang peserta tour adalah fiktif. Bapak Farad hanyalah supir penjemput menuju Pulau Derawan dan setelahnya kita yang aktif bertanya dan minta no TL dan rute trip. Untunglah kami termasuk aktif bertanya dan tidak diam.
Selama di Pulau Derawan, kami hanya berdua tanpa ada peserta lain. Open trip dengan bantuan dari pihak penginapan, dibantu digabungkan dengan private tour dari keluarga yang sedang berlibur (Untungnya pihak keluarga tersebut mengijinkan, bila tidak ntah bagaimana open trip berjalan dengan 2 peserta).
Kesimpulannya

Koordinasi sangat kurang, Responsif sangat kurang, Peserta harus aktif karena open trip yang diadakan travelbuddies selama di Derawan sama saja dengan kita yang bergerak tanpa bimbingan dari pihak Travelbuddies.
Penginapan selama di Derawan (Derawan Fishery) sangat ramah, banyak membantu dan rekomendasi.
My friend and I are participants in the Derawan open trip 10-12 Sep 2021 (derawan only, without a minimum number of participants). Long consideration for choosing Travel Buddies because PPKM and we want an open trip 09-12 September 2021 (labuan Cermin + Derawan, with a minimum of 10 participants).
We were informed that the total number of participants for the Derawan trip was 10 people. It's nice, because in the end the Labuan Cermin + Derawan trip was able to run, but it turned out to be zonk. The running trip is 3D2N or 10-12 September 2021 with the reason that other participants use 3D2N trips.
Towards the H-1 of the open trip, there was no WA group creation. We are actively asking and asking for the TL number (tour leader). The Travel Buddies are very slow in responding either via WA, phone, or IG. Finally in the evening we got Mr Farad's number and were informed it was TL.
But apparently, Travel buddies are not good at coordinating. The 10 participants in the tour are fictitious. Mr. Farad is just a pick-up driver to Derawan Island and after that we actively ask and ask for the TL number and trip route. Fortunately, we are actively asking questions and are not silent.
While on Derawan Island, we were alone with no other participants. Open trip with assistance from the inn, assisted combined with a private tour from a family who was on vacation (Fortunately the family allowed it, if not somehow the open trip went with 2 participants).
Conclusion
TravelBuddies
Very poor coordination, very less responsive, participants must be active because the open trips held by travelbuddies while in Derawan are the same as those of us who move without guidance from the Travelbuddies.
The innkeepers while in Derawan (Derawan Fishery) were very friendly, helped a lot and made recommendations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cukup kecewa dengan travelbuddies, open trip pertama yang saya rasakan seumur hidup ternyata tidak seindah yang saya kira.
Saya mengikuti open trip ke ciwidey dengan tiga tempat wisata, di ads yang mereka share perjalanan mematok tarif 79rb diluar tip supir dan tiket wisata.
Tapi pintar sekali travel satu ini mematok tiket masuk 40rb untuk masing2 tempat wisata yang bila kita browsing melalui google, tiket hanya berbayar kurang dari setengahnya, dan tips supir dipatok 45rb untuk tiap kepala.
Travel menggunakan bus pariwisata yang kondisi ACnya buruk, kotor, dan menggunakan supir tidak profesional.
Bolak-balik kami diajak keluar masuk tol karena supir tidak tahu jalan, hingga seluruh rencana perjalanan molor. Lebih parahnya saat mereka kebingungan mencari letak pintu masuk dari satu tempat wisata.
Hal yang cukup aneh, karena harusnya bukankah para guide dan supir sudah terbiasa.
Trip yang dijadwalkan sore hari sudah selesai, kami semua baru kembali ke Jakarta lewat tengah malam. Molor hingga lima jam, padahal tidak menemukan kemacetan dimanapun.
Quite disappointed with travelbuddies, the first open trip I felt in my life was not as beautiful as I thought.
I took an open trip to Ciwidey with three tourist attractions, in the ads they shared the trip set a tariff of 79 thousand excluding driver tips and tour tickets.
But this one travel is very smart, setting an entrance ticket of 40 thousand for each tourist spot which if we browse through google, the ticket only pays less than half, and driver tips are set at 45 thousand for each head.
Travel using a tourist bus that has bad air conditioning, is dirty, and uses an unprofessional driver.
We were invited back and forth to and from the toll road because the driver did not know the way, so the whole itinerary was delayed. It's even worse when they are confused about the location of the entrance to a tourist spot.
This is quite strange, because the guides and drivers shouldn't be used to it.
The trip which was scheduled for the afternoon was over, we all just returned to Jakarta after midnight. It was delayed for up to five hours, even though there was no traffic jam anywhere.
