Habib Ali Al Habsyi dalam silsilah sanad Lirboyo melalui jalur Syaikh Yasin bin Isa Al Fadani merupakan sumber dari dua sanad kitab yakni Safinatunnajah serta Shohih Bukhori.

Habib Ali bin Abdurrahman Al Habsyi is one of a triumvirate of Jakarta Ulama figures with Habib Ali bin Husein Al Ath-Thos and Habib Salim bin Ahmad bin Jindan, both of whom are buried in the Al Hawi Condet cemetery. Habib Ali Al Habsyi in the lineage of the Lirboyo chain through the path of Shaykh Yasin bin Isa Al Fadani is the source of the two books of the chain, namely Safinatunnajah and Shohih Bukhori.
