★ ★ ★ ★ ★ makam tengah kota yang orang biasa sebut dengan nama "KERKOP" telah ada sejak tahun 1800 an akhir.. dahulu tempat warga belanda dimakamkan.. disana terdapat makam pahlawan nasional ARIE FEDERICK LASSUT, pilot dan co pillot pesawat dakota alexander noel contantine dan roy heselhurst, dan makam fotografer pribumi pertama KASIHAN CEPHAS..
the middle town tomb that people usually call "KERKOP" has been around since the late 1800's .. formerly where the Dutch were buried .. there is the tomb of national hero ARIE FEDERICK LASSUT, pilot and co-pillot of the Dakota aircraft Alexander Noel Contantine and Roy Heselhurst, and the grave of the first indigenous photographer. LOVE CEPHAS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ pemakaman umum yg terletak di tengah2 kota, cukup padat sehingga sudah sulit utk menerima pemakam baru kecuali bersedia dimakamkan menjadi satu dalam satu kubur yg sama
sempat terkenal kumuh & tidak terawat namun sekarang sudah lebih bersih & tertata sejak adanya perhatian khusus dari pemkot, mengingat TPU ini merupakan kewenangan pemkot kodya Jokja
public cemetery located in the middle of the city, it is quite dense so it is difficult to accept new leaders unless willing to be buried into one same tomb
had been famous for slums and was not maintained but now it has been cleaner & more organized since there was special attention from the municipal government, considering this TPU is the authority of the municipal government of Jokja.
