★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a cozy place. Nice place for a chat with friends or somewhere quiet to work or study. The place is on the 2nd floor by the way. I got lost when I first looking for this place, no signage on the street with suwe ora jamu sign ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly I didn't enjoy the Beras Kencur I had. The one made by Mbak-mbak jamu is way better. But the place is clean and comfortable. There are not that many places like this in Pasar Minggu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got pisang garang, kunyit asam, galian putri and also strawberry smoothies. The pisang garang is actually really nice and tasted good. Galian Putri is not something you want to get if you are a jamu first-timer tho. Remember, it's jamu. The taste of them will always surprise you. The only downside from what we ordered was the strawberry smoothies that was quite sweet, we couldnt finish it.
The place is nice and comfortable. But beware of mosquitoes at the lower level and toilets area. I got bitten by them a lot. The staff was so kind and she lent me her minyak telon to soothe the itchiness on my skin. Thank you for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently visited Suwe Ora Jamu’s Salihara outlet. Suwe Ora Jamu is a Javanese Jamu House serving traditional herbal drinks. We’ve always loved the house blends and Javanese snacks and meals at the other Suwe Ora Jamu outlets but what we really loved about the Salihara one is the fresh design.
Combining traditional Javanese decor in a minimalistic setting has really worked well. The light is amazing as is the view over beautiful old trees- two things that aren’t always easy to find in Jakarta. Our favourites on the menu are the Temulawak and Beras Kencur Jamu blends and this time we snacked on pisang goreng and fried tempe and tahu- yum. And, we love nasi goreng kecombrang!
We enjoyed it so much we chose to come back and use the cafe for a recent photo shoot. The light was perfect and our shoot went so well.
