★ ★ ★ ★ ★ out of several e-sport themed internet cafes that i've visited, this has to be one of the best/ideal internet cafe in Jakarta, here is why it is :
Access wise, it's very easy to find, public transportations are everywhere (transjakarta, angkot, city bus, etc.), and the best part is that it has a subtle parking space for cars. i had no difficulties on getting here without any need of ordering Go-jek nor Grab if i really want to.
Now, facility wise, the place itself is not claustrophobic. Spaces between PC's are large enough for FPS players to flick around with even the smallest mouse sensitivity (this is an internet cafe optimized for FPS players overall, which is unorthodox from typical Indonesian iCafes that are orientated for MOBA players). But by implication, the amount of non-bootcamp PC's available are miniscule compared to their competitors. The good news is that they have a bootcamp room for 5 man teams/friends to practice or to just play. The iCafe system also has a feature to order food directly from their PCs without any need to go downstairs to the cashier, which is very convenient.
The PCs and their available hardware are the best that an e-sports themed cafe can offer. Their PCs are equipped fully with Ryzen 5 CPU and RX 580 GPU, which are the best an AMD can offer. The monitor is equipped with 144 Hz (even 240 Hz for the tournament PCs) supplied by BenQ Zowie, and the keyboard is a corsair red switch mechanical keyboard, which helps FPS players (especially CS:GO players like me) big time when it comes to smoothen their movement. But some PCs have issues with lag spikes and slow responding time due to unknown reason, so be careful which PCs you would like to use there and i hope that these PCs would be fixed by the management here.
For the software built in their PC itself, is one of the convenient UI/UX a gamer can use. The iCafe system is simple to be looked and doesn't interrupt or dominates the core functions of the OS (which is an issue if you want to modify configs or install other apps). And other than ordering food online, you can also lock the PC or chat to the operator downstairs. The experience could've been better if they preinstalled commonly used apps like Spotify or Line. Usually, i have to download it first hand before i play.
Overall, regardless of their issues, this iCafe is one of the most recommended iCafe to visit in Jakarta, hands down.
