★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove the length of the city to try this place. We had hoped for some great Chinese today, but sadly its not what we got. When we first walked inside everything was fine; clean, good lighting and nice atmosphere. We ordered our dim sum and it was all good (although nothing special tbh) but then we ordered our main course. First came the pork…on the menu pic it looked delicious, but when it came it came omg what a disappointment. It tasted horrible and some parts were even inedible. Then came the seafood fried rice; edible but bland x3. Maybe we should have tried the speciality-some kind of fish soup which most other tables seemed to be having, but it was a hot afternoon so we weren’t in a fish soupy mood and to be frank it didn’t look too appealing. The bottom line…first time at any restaurant the only question worth asking is would you come back again…in this case it’s a rather emphatic “no”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and warm on a cold rainy day, this traditional-style fish soup gets rave reviews from my family and friends. It goes nicely with the moist broth-laden noodle, I suppose it is home-made one, but I find the additional toppings like lightly-fried tofu and meatballs are too fulfilling, although they are as good.
Next time I'll have only the soup and warm rice, nothing else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Havent got the chance to take photos of all the menu we ordered.
But the garoupa fish soup is clearly the high light, we did order some other foods too, but this one is the real deal.
Fish is very fresh, there isnt even a slightest bit of foul odor or after taste (which many places have in their seafood cuisine)
We also ordered, salted egg fried chicken, it is also very nice.
Place wise, it isnt that spacious, but it has a nice ambience
Quite a recommended place to eat while you are in PIK 2

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ..went there on a Saturday morning at around 0800AM to meet and chat with a friend, so my husband dropped me in that resto compound without parking..
Parking should be easy though as the front venue is spacey.
The restaurant must be famous for its dimsum as they were already serving dimsum for bicyclers outdoor (under mounted tents) and it was very occupied.
I chose to wait for my friend inside where they were not yet that crowded at that time and ordered some drinks (they offered me fresh sqeezed sunkist juice, served in a bottle) while reading and listening to the Christmas-music they played.
Their dimsum is indeed very good.. loved their Lo Mai Kai and Egg Tart.. and will definitely come to revisit when being around.. (I asked to take-away all left overs we could not finish up, haha)
Oh ya, I realized the indoor place becoming quite busy with visitors after 1000AM.
Another thing I realized is that they cleaned up the tables after every visitor finished their meal. I liked the fresh scent that reached my nose everytime after they cleaned up.
They are a halal restaurant by the way..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ famous fish soup restaurant.. place was crowded.. i’ve come around 12 and waiting time around 1 hour. come with big portion and taste was okay.. soup had a unique taste so not everyone could enjoy it..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great sichuan restaurant. Food wise the "Suan Cai Yu" is hard to find in Jakarta and they made it pretty good. For those who does not like mala beware though. All of the other dishes are generally pretty good too so give the variety a try. The place can be pretty crowded though so try to come during weekdays or slow period. Parking is usually plenty as there are a huge parking spot right in front of the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The well designated decoration and layout in the interior restaurant. You can feel the traditional Chinese culture by having the fish cuisine here. The overall service is good and the environment is clean. I can tell the staffs are organized trained since everyone's R&R is executed perfectly.
Lots of people take their parents and kids here, trying to refresh their childhood memories with the elders and express their feeling to the youngsters. It is the heritage we can see in traditional Chinese family.
You can enjoy the meals with families or friends here on weekends or holidays. Give it a try and enjoy yourself here.
