Finally, the HYPE is OVER.. and we can enjoy their βFastβ service...!

β β β β β Finally, it opens in Indonesia. Been waiting for it since years ago. Although it had been opened before in Indonesia in the 90s, but the restaurant chain was closed in the 2000 onwards.
Now Subway Indonesia has cured the craving especially during pandemic era when it is prohibited to go overseas. Now we are no longer have to travel to Malaysia or Singapore (the closest) just to have a taste of this sandwich. Congratulation Subway Indonesia for opening the business in this country.
Taste is almost the same, recommended menu so far steak and cheese sandwich.
Price is ok for satisfying the craving.
Service is ok, luckily when we went there it wasnt that busy. Please visit the store at around 4-5 PM before the crowd comes.

β β β β β It's been so long... usually had this at Singapore, but due to covid and not be able to travel..this is quite comforting. The que system and etc might be a bit slow and not so organized, but i still think it is understandable, it's newly opened, newly trained staffs and to prevent crowds from queing, we have to scan the barcode then the staff will tell us what time we get our turn. Taste ok. For now the add on ingredients are still not available, for instance I wanted to add a scoop of egg mayo or i don't recall i saw any avocados.. yeah not allowed for now.

Selling sandwiches, cookies n beverages. For sandwiches there are vegetarian n non vegetarian flavours. Bread available are italian white, honey oats, wheat n parmesan oregano.
Tried chicken roast sandwich with parmesan oregano bread. Fresh n tasty. For extra toppings you can request n pay more.
Coffees used are Nescafe brand.
Services are good, fast n informative.
Will be back for more.

β β β β β Italian B.M.T sandwich is my all-time favorite. It's perfect with honey oat bread or parmesan oregano bread. I like how the Subway staff prepare the sandwich with a clear pattern. 6" will get 3 slices of tomato, footlong will get 6 slices of it. This way they can give a great experience at any Subway location.

Bad:
1) Long queue, almost like waiting to pay at local tax office?.
2) don't want to wait that long? Customers need to register online to place their orders in advance.?
Food and taste? 3 stars....
I had many subways in my days in the US so this one taste is as similar... personally it tastes good but unfortunately the price is also similarly priced like those subs in the States.....well unless these employees get paid according to US minimum wage...i give a sensible..... (next read....)

I would pay for the full US price but the atmosphere feels a lil off, cheap, more like a knockoff version compared to other imported US franchise.... It's clean tho.... But I give this credit to the staffs... and it doesn't feel nostalgically subway except for the signage fonts and color theme.

Staffs and service.... A solid 5 STARS!!!
Those terrible ratings this branch received are terribly misunderstood. The staffs are all young, energetic and hard working.... They kept the place clean.... Runs smooth like butter and most of them speaks fluent English ?.
But I see those bad reviews are attacking the fact that it's a simple American franchise and ordering a simple sandwich shouldn't be this complicated and long of a wait.
So poor staffs get lots of dirty looks and jokes from customers especially the subway snobs?.... Me included but I quickly realized they are not the owners but just frontline workers taking all the heat of what the owners tell them to do as protocols.
My usher Ester.... Someone please promote this lovely girl.... Wonderful soul she has.

β β β β β The place is cozy, sitting area on the second floor has indoor and outdoor area..service was good and I like the taste of their food..I ordered steak and cheese variant with honey oat bread..they have several choices of bread for you to choose and you can also choose vegetable toppings and sauces that you like..worth to try

β β β β β There was barely a queue when I visited the store, probably because it was after iftar. I went here to get my mom a take away sandwich since she really wanted to try one. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki sandwich with cheese and oregano bread with lettuce as well as green paprika. My mom said that it was delicious! Great service too, the servers were helpful and provided useful info for our orders.
