★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for hiking and camping. River, wooden bridge, waterfall, camping ground in the middle pines jungle and eagle sanctuary. But it's no easy to find public transportation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got lost when the first time I got here, this place is way too far from the main road. The maps didn't really help and not so much people around to ask. But finally I found this place. I hate it when some of teenage boys asked us for money in order to let us in, the fact that the exact location still far from the place they ask us for money *sighs and then when I finally arrived at the suaka elang I had to pay (again) and I asked the ranger there about some people out there ask us for money, and he said that they were not part of suaka elang management. It was PUNGLI. (But they also had the ticket paper?) okay let's moving on to the place, I arrived at this place around 11am, and no one was there but our group. This place was super quiet all you can hear is the wind making music with the trees, and the sound of the eagles. The first thing I noticed was the bridge, it was scary to walk through the brigde cause it seem fragile, but I made it alive. There is also a waterfall if we go down, but we didn't go and the ranger told us not to, cause it was slippery cause it was raining. So we just took some photos, saw the eagles and enjoyed the scenery.

Minus: expensive parking fee from the villagers. Be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's fairly easy to access, nice trekking route, and it's not that cold at all, so people with basic camping equipment can sleep rather well, and also nice experience for kids and first timer.
There's clean toilet, 8 of them if I remember correctly, and clean source of water.
the only minus is the expensive parking fee, other than that you'll definitely enjoy being here.
Notes : Park your vehicle near Elementary School, talk to the surrounding neighbours or the store nearby, and they'd gladly help you.
DO NOT park your vehicle past that area!
