★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good drop off point, but the station as a whole, esp the exit, which is to the south, can feel intimidating because one has to cross three lines of tracks to get out of the station. And when there's a train, or two, on them, it can feel scary and inconvenient because one has to get back up on the platform and go through a train that may be full of passengers. It's just not laid out well at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this is the first gate of Jogjakarta station. It could be the main gate for trans city trips. Traditionally splendid gate, just next to the Malioboro street. You need to print the boarding pass using the super easy application available here.
