The name was given to commemorate one of the officers from Pekalongan city named General Hoegeng. This stadium has a capacity of approximately 8k people. The stadium has a light cc motorbike racing circuit. Inside the stadium there are running tracks as a facility for training athletes or can also be used to hold competitions.
