Dulu sekali jualan di sekitar pasar Tebet Barat, lalu pindah kelokasi sekarang dipelataran Mushola Nurul Yaqin.
Soto Mie Betawai memiliki rasa khas berbeda dengan soto Padang atao soto Bandung.
Tentunya banyak penggemarnya karena berjualan di Tebet yang dulunya merupakan pemukiman Betawi Asli pindahan dari daerah Senayan yang dibebaskan untuk proyek Gelora Senayan.
Soto Mie Betawi H.Ali sudah ada seiring dengan bertambahnya penduduk Tebet mulai sekitaran tahun 1962, hampir bersamaan dengan berdirinya Warteg Warmo, Sate Mustafa dan Mie Ayam Goreng Pasar Tebet.
Sudah lebih dari dua generasi.
Soto Mie Betawi H.Ali merupakan salah satu soto mie faporit warga Tebet dan warga sekitar yang orang tuanya pernah tinggal di Tebet.
Bertambah ramai kalau lagi ada pengajian ibu ibu hari Selasa di mushola Nurul Yaqin.
Belum lama ini ada penjual lupis dan lepat menambah pilihan makanan khas Betawi.
Tidak berapa jauh dari lokasi juga ada gado gado mang Jaja yang juga banyak penggemarnya.
Ada juga Bakmie Ayam Bangka Agoy dengan tempat makan yang representative dan layanan online.
Selain Soto Mie Betawi H.Ali yang mangkal ada juga beberapa penjual soto Mie Betawi yang berkeliling pakai gerobak dorong salah satunya ada yang tinggal dan meracik bahan bahan soto mie di daerah Kalibata, pagi pagi sudah berangkat dan keliling daerah Tebet.
Soto Mie Betawi segar, disantap panas panas, rasa asin, pedas dan asam bisa ditambah sendiri sesuai selera.
