Berdiri sejak tahun 1990, oleh bapak Abdullatif di tengah area travel Rahayu dengan gubuk sebagai langkah awal beliau menjalankan usaha. Dari tahun ke tahun, soto sulung cak Latif ini mengalami 2 kali relokasi atas mandat pemerintah kota Magelang, dari di pinggir jalan A. Yani, hingga berpindah di wilayah Sub Terminal Kebonpolo (Kuliner Puri Boga Kencana). Soto Sulung Kota Magelang merupakan pecahan usaha dari Soto Sulung Yogyakarta yang dikelola langsung oleh Ibu Katri (Istri Bp. Abdullah) sebagai tokoh langsung peracik bumbu di Yogyakarta sejak tahun 80-an, tak heran jika rasa berasa Soto tempo dulu. Harga yang diberikan pun juga kompetitif, sangat terjangkau untuk sebuah makanan. Anda cukup mengeluarkan kocek Rp. 20.000,00 anda bisa menikmati Soto Sulung Hangat dengan dengan nasi dan minuman dingin atau hangat. Di lengkapi pula dengan kerupuk udang menambah kenikmatan lidah bergoyang. Soto sulung buka pada pukul 16.30 s.d. 00.00 WIB dengan spanduk khas berwarna hijau di tengah area sub terminal. Anda pasti akan melihat nya kala masuk pada jalur angkot menuju kota Magelang.
Soto Sulung Kebonpolo is a historical culinary treat in the city of Magelang.
