★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long established soto mie place in benhil. I think they have been in operations at least since early 80s. It is bit pricier than the ordinary soto mie due to its heavy content of meat, and until recently, a price worth paying. My experience this morning was quite different however, despite the consistent taste of the broth, they seems to have changed their once excellent meatball from homemade into commercial ones that consist mostly of tapioca flour. It is such a pity as they used to set the standard for meatball, at least in the area. A victim of opening up new branches too quickly? time will tell

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stall is one of "soto mie" legend in Bendungan Hilir Central Jakarta area. Located right opposite SDN 01 Bendungan Hilir - Pejompongan. In the 70's era Pak Sarodja (that's why it called Soto Mie Sarodja) used to sell his soto mie with food cart aka gerobak dorong. But now this stall in Jl. Danau Tondano has been bequeathed by his 3rd generation i guess. The meat broth filled with beehoon lunpia, noodles and big chunks of meat surely make u drool ?? plus u can add meatballs if u want..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best soto mie in Jakarta. Big portion means there is a "price" on it. But no regret... The taste is also superb.
You need to be quick to taste the Soto Mie Iga Sapi. Or else there will be regular one only. Also, avoid lunch time or you'll have to dine early. Parking spot almost nil.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bowl of hot noodle and beehoon with sliced cabbage, tomato, springrolls, meat, and if you like, add some meatballs in a clear soup et voila! You'll have a bowl of a little bit of everything that will make you a little bit happier. And Sarodja is probably one of the best places to have soto mie in Jakarta. Arguably, Bogor has better options.
