★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sering banget lewatin kedai Soto Mie Bogor Mang Maman, tapi baru cobain kali ini. Bukan apa-apa, saya tipikal orang yang tidak suka dengan soto mie. Lokasinya berada di Jalan Siliwangi, sebelah kiri jalan sebelum RS. Hermina kalau dari arah Margonda. Bentuknya berupa rumah makan sederhana dengan gerobak soto serta spanduk bertuliskan nama tempat yang cukup terlihat dari pinggir jalan.
Soto Mie (Rp.16.000,-) seporsinya cukup banyak. Isiannya berupa mie kuning, bihun, kol, irisan tomat, risol dan tentunya daging yang bisa dipesan khusus dengan atau tanpa kikil atau semacam jeroan. Rasa kuahnya asin, gurih, ringan, menyegarkan dan tampak bening. Karena isiannya melimpah, jadi cocok dinikmati bareng sepiring nasi bertabur bawang goreng (Rp.4.000,-) sebagai santapan siang.
Soto Santan (Rp.19.000,-) menu ini sebenernya lebih mirip soto Betawi karena menggunakan kuah santan yang terlihat pekat. Isiannya berupa potongan daging, tomat, daun bawang dan emping yang dihancurkan. Rasa kuahnya cukup gurih, medok meskipun tidak begitu bold. Irisan dagingnya juga empuk, paling mantul dinikmati dengan remukan empingnya yang basah terendam kuah.
Es Jeruk (Rp.6.000,-) minuman pelepas dahaga yang sangat cocok diseruput setelah menikmati makanan berkuah gurih. Jeruknya manis, seger dan lumayan kental. Harganya sangat terjangkau, jadi dijamin ga bikin kantong bolong deh. Kalau mau makan siang dengan hidangan berkuah, Soto Mie Bogor Mang Maman ini saya rekomendasikan…
I often pass by Mang Maman's Soto Mie Bogor shop, but only tried it this time. It's okay, I'm the type of person who doesn't like Soto Mie. The location is on Jalan Siliwangi, on the left side of the road before the hospital. Hermina from the direction of Margonda. The form is a simple restaurant with a soto cart and a banner bearing the name of the place which is quite visible from the side of the road.
Soto Mie (Rp.16.000,-) portion is quite a lot. The contents are yellow noodles, vermicelli, cabbage, sliced tomatoes, risol and of course meat which can be specially ordered with or without gravel or some kind of offal. The taste of the sauce is salty, savory, light, refreshing and looks clear. Because the filling is abundant, it is suitable to be enjoyed with a plate of rice sprinkled with fried onions (Rp. 4,000, -) as lunch.
Soto Santan (Rp. 19,000,-) this menu is actually more like Soto Betawi because it uses coconut milk that looks thick. The filling is in the form of pieces of meat, tomatoes, scallions and crushed emping. The taste of the sauce is quite savory, medok though not so bold. The slices of meat are also tender, best enjoyed with the crumbled chips that are soaked in gravy.
Ice Jeruk (Rp.6.000,-) is a thirst quenching drink that is perfect for sipping after enjoying a savory soup. The orange is sweet, fresh and quite thick. The price is very affordable, so it's guaranteed not to make a hole in your pocket. If you want to have lunch with a soupy dish, I recommend this Soto Mie Bogor Mang Maman…
