★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place to taste authentic Indonesian Soto, also to bring tourists experiencing Indonesian Food. They have some kind of signature street mark which was Roaster Statue on top. The Soto undoubted delicious. When you enter, the sitting tables are for smoking guests, they provide non smoking area at the back. For me personally, for this kind of delicious food deserved cleaner eating area and sanitation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous soto madura with good quality beef, you can see a lots of celebrities pictures from indonesia at the wall of the restaurant. This place is a legend because its already open since long time ago.. but I think the taste was more delicious back there.
The price also quite expensive around 50-75thousand Rupiah per person and They only accept cash :(

New owner could maintain taste of soto and add much more beef/tripe meat at each portion - of course with slight increasing price.
Soto with beef and tripe mixed Rp 40.000 each portion include tax, soto daging also Rp 40.000. rice wrapped in banana leaf Rp 7.000 each pack.
Sate ayam Rp 40.000 for 10 tusuk.
And, this soto might be better than others, that if you taken home and you kept in refrigerator for 1 night, then the next day you only found less cold fat in surface of soto soup, it means this soto soup used less beef fat.
The other soto, the next day surface of soto soup become thick fat.
Please be noticed, this restaurant only receive hard cash money for payment, credit and debit card not accepted.

Serving East Java food including Soto, Rawon, Rujak Cingur etc. The food taste is good, given in small serving and less salt you can add as pleased. The walls are filled with celebrities and dignitaries foto and hand written comments. The management has changed recently, the hospitality is not as before but still a great place to eat and reminiscing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legendary soto in Central Jakarta and the taste never fails. We always preferred to be seated on the back as it has AC on. Soto Daging is always a favorite and even though it is one portion, you can share it with one more person since it has around six big chunks of meat! The price is around 40k per person.
