The taste never change - still delicious, still clean, still in hot serving, still d same other additional food that we can choosed like Tempe tofu etc in "bacem" style., still the staff very good customer service all. Amazing, established from 1977. ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of alternative for soto kudus, a traditional chicken soup some clear, some yellow bcs of the turmeric, usually they served with rice inside the soup, but I prefer seperate it's remind me of dog food If the do it like that, the thing is for place like this , the ornament its more interesting than the main food, like the chicken intestine crispy salty, chicken skin, fried beef brain, pindang(traditional central javanese boiled eggs until hard with coconut palm sugar) eggs, etc... You still have to come in time in lunch time on Sunday otherwise it's full!! Esp covid now. If u want to take away, have it separate soup, and etc, and one at home u must boiled it again, it's best serve hot!!! Enjoy???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really love the Soto Kudus here. The taste reminds me of the one I used to eat in my childhood. The soto (clear soup) uses chicken for ingredient (the original uses buffalo meat but it's rare now). There are side dishes to choose from: tempe, clam satay, tofu etc. And don't forget the plain chili or chili in sweet soy sauce to add heat to the soup! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously one of the worst soto i've ever eaten. Very pricey compared to other soto kudus in jakarta(which already pricey enough). But what made me really disappointed was the taste and the service. I order 2 iced tea and till i finished my meal they never bring it. When we sit down to eat, the lady owner never asked what we're gonna eat, while she is busy serving other tables.
The soto is fragrant and appetizing but once u tasted it, it's kinda bland. I even wondered whether the staff forgot to put something in there..
I never give such a bad review. And this is my first time so disappointed while eating such a pricey soto Kudus.

The soup is very light but hearty at the same time.
If you are still not satisfy with a bowl, you can order 1 1/2 bowl. ??
