★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here you can get a tasty one of “soto betawi”. The meat is tender and the portion quite generous. Each portion includes slices of tomato, potato and chips of melinjo bean.
They also serve beef organs, e.g. lung, stomach, leg tendon, etc, which you can choose one or mix. You also can choose one of 2 kind of soup: peppery beef broth (kuah bening) or coconut milk (kuah santan/original soto betawi). The original one tastes great, but not the kuah bening.
The place has typical size of a small warung, and seems a bit dirty. But, you can forget the ambience once you start enjoying the soto.
