★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Soto Betawi in the area! You can choose from many beef assortments (i.e. meat, lung) to be added to your soto. The soto it self is so fresh and umami. I spent 47k rupiahs for 2 plate of rice, 1 soto (beef and lungs), and sweet ice tea. It was worth it. You should try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time had this Soto Betawi, 12 years ago. I can say it's a dish who never lost the authenticity. The taste and the place never change, AT ALL. They don't have any branches, sell their production as they produce (no crazy massive production) so when it's sold out they just close. They open at 07:00 in the morning and ussually all sold out arround 11:00-13:00 so you better early. This kind of Soto Betawi, you can only get it over here, no other place. It's truly family business who keeps the consistency of their product which is the taste it self. Not many business unit doing that and I adore art work of this humble place for their great consistency. ❤️❤️❤️
My favourite is beef soto betawi with fried lung on the side (I like the lung to be stay still crunchy not soggy), don't forget the condiment like; pickle, extra fried onion, sauteed sambal.

Soto Betawi is a beef soup, slowly simmered in a coconut milk broth, enriched with various spices. It is usually served with tomatoes, scallions and emping crackers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legendary soto betawi in Manggarai area. Always packed and full of people during lunch. The broth is not too thick (prefer this taste than too bold coconuty-taste) and a little bit yellow (not sure is it from turmeric or ghee). Worth to visit again someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This soup is one of the legendary Betawi Soto in Jakarta..... From time to time the taste never changes. Come here in the morning, because if it's past 12 noon, it's already gone. And have to queue to get a seat. Parking is also a bit difficult here. It tastes good and the price is affordable.
