★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The soto betawi, or beef in coconut milk, is quite good. I do find it less spicy and flavorful though still tasty. But the beef satay is fantastic, although I could skip the just-OK peanut sauce. I haven't been to this old school food institution for ages, it's nice to know it still serves good food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry but I think this is not the best soto betawi in jakarta. I visited the branch restaurant in cikini.
They served the soto in warm temperature so the broth getting cold faster.
But the taste still pretty good if you want to try.
