★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So difficult to find Soto Banjar, let alone a good one. This one is close to where we live and actually prettu good. Nothing yet is comparable to the one on Jl. Veteran in Samarinda. What I liked most particularly from this place is actually the Sate Tulang; chicken bone on skewer. If you don't like sweet, you may not like it though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soto Banjar is very famous traditional food from Kalimantan especially from Banjarmasin usually served with rice cake (ketupat) and many herbs based soup with perkedel (mashed pottato fried) and the taste is so good. The porky satays with the red sauce is very satisfying. In Jakarta there are not many resto selling soto Banjar and porky satays and so far this place is the best. The location is in residential area and the gates shown in google map might be closed so it takes more time to find the entrance main gate.
