★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bangunannya masih dirawat dengan baik walaupun merupakan bangunan era kolonial yaitu bekas rumah administrateur pabrik gula TanjongTirto atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama PG Kalasan. Selain itu anak-anak mempunyai tempat untuk bermain di lapangan depan sekolah.
The building is still well maintained even though it is a colonial era building, namely the former home of the TanjongTirto sugar factory administrator or better known as PG Kalasan. In addition, children have a place to play in the field in front of the school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ada bagian bangunan sekolah yg bercorak Belanda, secara fisik bangunan blm banyak perubahan selama belasan sampai dua puluh tahun terakhir, di depannya ada pabrik tembakau Tobacco Redrying yang baunya sangat menyengat
There is a part of the school building that has a Dutch style, physically the building hasn't changed much in the past dozen or so years, in front of it there is a Tobacco Redrying tobacco factory that smells very strong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gedung SMP N 1 Berbah ini dulunya adalah rumah dinas Administratuur Pabrik Gula Tanjung Tirto yang dibangun pada tahun 1923, sedangkan pabrik gulanya dibangun sebelumnya tahun 1874, walaupun kini pabrik gulanya sudah hancur karena perang, dan di bekas lahannya kini dibangun gudang tembakau.
The SMP N 1 Berbah building used to be the official residence of the Tanjung Tirto Sugar Factory Administrator, which was built in 1923, while the sugar factory was built earlier in 1874, although now the sugar factory has been destroyed due to war, and the former land is now building a tobacco warehouse.
