Terletak di kec.ungaran timur kab.semarang.
Lebih tepatnya dekat dengan makam pahlawan gatot subroto ataupun rumah dinas bupati kab.semarang.
Sekolah ini letaknya tidak terlalu di tengah2 perkotaan ataupun jauh ke pedesaan sehingga membuat suasana belajar mengajar lebih tenang karena tidak bising oleh suara kendaraan bermotor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SMPN 2 Ungaran is a junior high school within ten minutes from my home. This school is SSN (Standar Sekolah Nasional). I am also alumna from this school, i am graduated from this junior high school in 2015. In this school many kinds of extracurricular, there are story telling, volleyball, basketball, football, choir, story telling class, and many more. This school have event every friday with different concept in the morning. I loved canteens because many meals and drinks that i can buy, i also loved my class because nice, clean and very comfortable.
