★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best place to be in Java, kind of off the beaten track yet easily accesible, great people, the best possible views of the Javanese mountains and volcanoes you can get without climbing them (if you want to though they do organise treks). Locally and very fresh sourced ingredients (milk , tea and coffee from farmers walking distance away! They will take you if you ask in advance) and most veggies and rice farm to table too. They even have a homestay amongst a permaculture forest at the back and a little shop with products of local artisans. Lierally the Java version of Bali's Rolling Fork but actually authentic and with local prices and has much more to offer than just the restaurant. For sure the next 'it'place of Java. Couldn't recommend more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For food is just so so. For view is good enough, you can eat outdoor and see mountains. But some expats from my school like it, so, maybe if you come from place except Indonesia you will like it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owned by Sarah and Tebeng, this place nurtures calm and goodness. In the Back you have a terrace with one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen on the volcano, mountains and rice fields. The food is delicious and locally grown. A perfect place for conscious eaters and if you wish to meet the lovely owners. I highly recommend to stay there for a few nights. You have the option to sleep in the jungle java bungalows like we did, this gives you the authentic experience of sleeping in nature, surrounded by the beauty of Java island. The bungalows are made of bamboo and old tek constructions. It is stunning! You can also stay at the home stay heritage with Sarah and her husband for a the less adventurous ones. Have a great stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, good environment, good company. A nice place for hang out enjoying a nice quiet night. The view of the hills and rice paddy field is stunning. They also got a nice tracking event through the natural environment at the surrounding area, the view of the tracking path is fabulous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 thumbs up for mas Tebeng and Sitinggil Family. It was a great experience to stay there, even for one night at the glamping backyard it feels like we're an old friends ;) You can sit back and relax whole day, enjoy stuning view while done your task or chillin' around to feel the atmosphere. Also the fire camp!
