★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happen to stay at hotel Harris and found this new Singapore restaurant just outside of hotel lobby in the Mall Kelapa Gading.
Happy and ordered few items to try.....good menu with a lot of dishes, can continue to try for few days with different items. Food taste good in Jakarta standard and very close if not same as local Singapore standard. Pricing wise is cheap considering restaurant in a high end shopping mall with Singapore food court pricing like SGD 4 for a plate of carrot cake or SGD 5 for a Laksa.
Today already my 2nd days here and will be coming another few more times during my stay in Jakarta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Call itself Singapore's Gao Ji Food. Located at Mal Kelapa Gading near Haris Hotel mal entrance. The first chain in Indonesia.
Offer authentic Singapore Food: yong tow foo, Hainanse chicken rice, bak kut teh, laksa and curry. So if you miss Singapore food, here is the place.
Hainanese Chicken rice was pretty decent. Pretty much just like the one we got in Sg.
Koo Kee Special noodle was pretty OK. the noodle was a bit overcooked, but the taste is delicious. 3 kinds of tofu dishes + fish ball in the soup. You love noodles and tofu? This dish is for you.
Hot plate yong tow foo with rice. Similar to Kong Kee special, but cooked on a hot plate on a bed of scramble egg, topped with dark sauce with black pepper flavor. The dish left trails of garlic in the end. It was OK.
There was one dish contains steamed pork pate with salty fish, I forgot the name. Now THAT was exactly the taste I tried in Singapore. 100% authentic! Highly recommended!
The service is friendly and fast. Whatever they do, they would try to assist you. So good service.
Most recommended is the pork pate with salty fish. The rest is mediocre. If you miss Singapore non halal food, this place is for you.

Seriously^^
The chicken, the rice, the noodle, the tofu, even the salad??
The crew is very attentive in an unassuming way.
The sofa is lack of firmness tough.
But the seating arrangement is quite comfortable, with 3 sets of high back bench in a row for a more intimate dining experience.
What they lack is, in my humble opinion, tea selection.

First try here, we ordered hainanese chicken, fried hokkian mee with prawns, special noodles with yong tau foo, n yang tzou fried rice. All taste so so, fortunately chili came to the rescue.
Second try was the prawn laksa n egg char kuetiau. The laksa taste nicer with shrimp paste chili. Fried kuetiau in small portion, pale looking with uneven parts of rice noodles.
Staffs were better though.

Drink barley or order both w eight treasure flower tea, you may say your welcome
