BEWARE OF FOOLED!!! I have experience changing the LCD mi 8 lite. At first I checked from Google then I called the cellphone number listed here. When I asked if I could replace the mi 8 lite LCD or not, the owner of this 88 star answered yes. I said I would come to his place in the afternoon. Not long after that I was called back and informed that he was at Roxy and was buying spare parts. He informed me that the Mi 8 lite LCD was expensive and asked me to transfer it first. I try to make sure again whether he has ever replaced the LCD mi 8 lite or not. Very confidently he said that it had been changed frequently. Without thinking, I finally transferred 475 thousand to his personal BCA account in the name of Nik* Muhar**. Around 7 pm I came to his place. I checked how long does it take to replace the mi 8 lite LCD? He is not fast, only 1/2 hour and at most 1 hour. Because it's fast, I'm waiting for it. After waiting until almost 10 pm, the broken LCD has not opened yet. Finally I decided to take my family and children home first. Long story short when I got back I was still waiting until 12pm. The old LCD was successfully removed but he said that the new LCD can't be installed because the shape is different!!! He said it was a manufacturing defect!! He also blamed the distributor at Roxy and he said he was scammed!!! As a layman, I'm questioning the fate of my cellphone that has been dismantled?? What is the usual mechanism when something like this happens? He said “yes, WE cheated Roxy. What do you want?" I replied "I don't know Roxy's people. The one I know is you. I came here to replace my cellphone's LCD and you said you were used to changing it. If you want to take goods/spare parts from anywhere, I don't need to know. What I want to know is that I have made a full transfer and I asked for my LCD to be replaced with a new one.” Even though seeing the way he disassembled the cellphone, I am more certain that he is not professional and does not show that he often replaces the Mi 8 Lite LCD. He then replied, "Yes, his name is cheated, what can you do again. If you really want to replace the LCD, you have to pay again to buy a new LCD again”… this is really a fraud mode….!!! He said again, "if you want it to be safe, change it at the Xiaomi Center... it's cheap for me. But yes, the risk is like this, if you get bad goods/spare parts, you have to pay again" I really didn't expect people who worked in service to say things like this to customers...!!! I even showed proof of my chat with the xiaomi center and it was informed that the mi 8 lite LCD stock was empty. And because there was a need for work, I came to him so he could replace my LCD immediately. Finally he insisted that I accept the condition of the old LCD is gone or pay again for him to buy a new LCD again. I asked him for an answer but he didn't want to return my money at all on the grounds that 'WE' were both deceived. I tried repeatedly to ask for an answer but he still laughed at his statement. Finally arrived around 1 am, he said he only wanted to change 100 thousand only. I tried to negotiate and finally agreed that he would pay 300 thousand. Where 200 thousand will be paid immediately and 100 thousand a week later. My consideration for asking for 300 thousand is that he said the price for the LCD was 300 thousand and 175 thousand was the cost of dismantling and installing it. So because he had already disassembled my cellphone, even though in the end it was only damaged because the old LCD couldn't be installed anymore, I still paid the fee of 175 thousand. And regarding the LCD which he said was defective, I said that it was his business loss, not mine. Because the business is him. I didn't even take the LCD that was said to be a manufacturing defect. Finally at 2 he handed over 200 thousand to me. With great understanding I say thank you and I say for the remaining 100 thousand please pay next month only. After 1 month, I WA but only read!! No response at all until now! I also tried watching videos on youtube and it turned out that he was wrong when he disassembled my LCD! There is a black list that should not be opened.
