Sekolah negeri dibilang cukup berprestasi dibidang akademik dan non akedemik dan juga banyak kegiatan ekstrakulikulernya yg bisa membantu minat dan bakat siswa/i. Untuk area sangat luas dan teduh (sekitar sekolah ada pohon-pohon), guru-girunya banyak yg asikndan lucu juga, pas buat anak-anak. Untuk akses larena berada didalam komplek, saran dianterin orang tua atau jemputan, karena dari gerbang komplek lemayan jauh
SD Negeri Jati Mekar VIII is a public elementary school which is located within the Angkasa Puri complex. Public schools are said to have good achievements in both academic and non-academic fields and there are also many extracurricular activities that can help students' interests and talents. For a very large and shady area (around the school there are trees), the teachers are lots of fun and funny too, just right for children. For access to larena inside the complex, advice from parents or pickup, because from the gate of the lemayan complex is far away
