Sekolahan ini memiliki fasilitas yang cukup baik, walaupun ada beberapa aspek yang perlu diperbaiki, seperti ketersediaan perpustakaan dan kebersihan lingkungan. Sekolah ini terletak di atas bukit. Dari sekolahan ini kita dapat melihat pemandangan yang sungguh indah berupa hamparan sawah. Suasana di sekolahan ini juga sangat nyaman dan sejuk, khas pegunungan. Lokasi ini merupakan salah satu lokasi kegiatan Kelas Inspirasi Kebumen 3 pada tanggal 17 Februari 2018.
SDN 3 Karangsambung is located close to the tourist attraction of Pentulu Indah. This school has quite good facilities, although there are several aspects that need to be improved, such as the availability of libraries and environmental cleanliness. This school is located on a hill. From this school we can see a really beautiful view of rice fields. The atmosphere at this school is also very comfortable and cool, typical of the mountains. This location is one of the locations of Kebumen 3 Inspiration Class activities on February 17, 2018.
