Lokasi SD ini di pinggir kampung diapit oleh Perum Nogotirto 4 dan Perum Nogotirto 2, sekitar 100 m dari Ring road barat Yogyakarta. Peserta didik berasal dari kampung sekitarnya. Kondisi tanahnya landai sekitar persawahan yang subur sepanjang tahun karena irigasi dari kali Bedog dan Selokan Mataram. Kawasan sekitarnya mulai dibangun pemukiman baru, dan sarana lainnya. Terdapat Rumah Sakit, masjid, STIKES, perbelanjaan, kantor perwakilan beberapa perusahaan bisnis, dan lain-lain.
SDN Tuguran is located in Tuguran village, Kal. Nogotirto, Kec. Lime, Kab. Sleman, Prop. In Yogyakarta. The elementary school location on the edge of the village is flanked by Perum Nogotirto 4 and Perum Nogotirto 2, about 100 m from the Ring Road west of Yogyakarta. Students come from surrounding villages. Sloping soil conditions around fertile rice fields throughout the year due to irrigation from the Bedog River and the Mataram Ditch. The surrounding area began to be built new settlements, and other facilities. There are hospitals, mosques, STIKES, shopping, representative offices of several business companies, and others.
