Lokasinya berada di jalur keramaian. Jalan raya yang ramai. Jalur yang lurus dan lebar. Mobil besar bermuatan. Bus umum. Hingga kendaraan pribadi. Hilir mudik 24 jam. Siswa telah beradaptasi dengan keadaan ini. Untuk selalu berhati-hari.
Jumlah siswa cukup banyak. Jika dibandingkan semua SD negeri di Kecamatan Teras. Ada 26 SD di Teras. 25 berstatus negeri dan 1 swasta. Banyak prestasi yang diperoleh. Baik di tingkat kecamatan, hingga propinsi. Serta tidak mengesampingkan pembangunan karakter peserta didiknya.
