★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love having a brunch or any meal in a garden, you will love this place! The Saung Bandung, you may guess from the name, serves Sundanese cuisine at the heart of Solo. Meals ranging from breakfast (served on 7 AM to 11 AM), mains, and even the snacks, everything is Sundanese cuisine.
I really recommend the deep fried batagor and the 10 pcs fried cireng with sweet and spicy rujak sauce, ordered together with a cold ice lemon tea or their special camcau (grass jelly) ice with syrup.
Talking about the price, the price list belongs to affordable - quite pricy. But if you ask me, with the garden surroundings, eating good food, it is worth to try!
P.S. bring your camera, there are many spots that you can take pictures on.

Too crowded for the pandemic era. Especially at the middle part. The distance of one to other table was not that far. Maybe better if had reservation first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice dine in garden like restaurant, the whole area is an open door open space Saung style diner.
The food itself is OK. I recommend their Sundanese beef tripes, karedok, and the grilled gourami with dabu sauce. Mix them up with oncom rice to boost the flavor. otherwise they have a bit too much flavour in everything, mostly a little salty.
I’d skip on the ice desert drinks though, not the place to go for it.
