Pretty good, the price is quite affordable, but the price for goat satay is too expensive, the seats are quite a lot, there are 8 chairs X4 table, quite satisfied

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A standard satay restaurant selling mutton satay, tongseng, gule, and also the usual chicken satay with peanut sauce. Their mutton satay and tongseng taste pretty good. Their chicken satay is not as sweet as the usual ones marketed as "Sate Madura", maybe because it's a "Sate Tegal" restaurant after all.

Sate Kambing Tanpa Lemak and Tongseng Kambing for 48 K and 24 K IDR
It's not the greatest, but it definitely is not the worst. If anything, for its asking price it really is quite good. The satay itself is a bit smaller than average, but it is amazingly still juicy and soft even though it is lean AND grilled properly. That really is the main reason i just had to write this review - most others at this price range tend to be too fatty or chewy rather than giving us properly prepared pieces of meat.
The tongseng is also quite noteworthy for being generous with its filling considering it only costs 24 K. Sure it is mostly fat with some meat in it, but it is quite par for the course considering Tongseng really is the poor man's effort to stretch ingredients as much as possible. Furthermore, the tomatoes were really fresh and they didn't overload the tongseng with cabbage (like how some others would do it) so it really is quite worth the price.
All in all, it is mostly just okay, but considering how most other options here are low end satays or various kinds of chicken, this really is quite a worth it oasis for those preferring protein other than poultry.
