★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sate (skewer) made from tenderloin meat, cooked with special spices and very unique process so it is still juicy, tasty but soft.
The meat will blend with the special sweet sauce, will release a fragrant aroma when you chew it. Not a meat or beef smell but fragrant herbs which will make you will never enough.
Nasi urat is the speciality of this restaurant.
If you meet a humble guy with glasses, curly hair and soft spoken. It is H. Kukuh himself. You will find him serving customer also or sometimes you will see him barbecueing the sate himself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Marrangi Satay (Sate) is delicious and located at strategic area. One thing that must be improved is tenderness. Little bit stiff. But its recipes very tasteful. Space to eat quiet tight and hot even in the night. Improvement must be done. Giving 4 star for this. Good food, good place. Another good point is GoFood accepted to this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The uniqeness of sate Maranggi is that it taste sweet and usually is made from beef. This place however, also served sate maranggi which is made from tendon and I personally prefer it from the signature beef sate since it's softer and half the price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A unique Satay Joint in Tebet area. It's a simillar to the famous Sate Maranggi in Purwakarta, but it has been modified in according to Jakartans taste according, the owner who happened to be in place and greet us.
The uniqeness of sate Maranggi is that it taste sweet and usually is made from beef. This place however, also served sate maranggi which is made from tendon and I personally prefer it from the signature beef sate since it's softer and half the price!
The soup needs to be salted before consuming it and the best part is that both of my daughters who are picky eater, loves it.
The final conclusion is that Sate Maranggj Tebet is worth to visit, but it's a bit expensive given that the Sate's portion is relatively small. Nevertheless, they have EDC so that payment with credit cards are possible.
