They have new menu called hotplate daging. I recommend to Give it a try. Ordered kicik, klatak and sate goreng (fried satay). Each cost me 25 K (approx. 2 USD). I spent less than IDR 100 K (approx. 7 USD) with simple beverage.

Many people say that Satay Klathak Pak A and Pak B are more recommended and interested, but satay pak A and B are open only in the evening before which is around 5 pm till midnight. Due to the very tight time I finally searched in the internet "satay klathak". And finally found the satay klathak which was open in the early morning hours at 11 am. My friend and I arrived 20 minutes early, the restaurant was still closed and was preparing food menus to be served and the employee there was also very friendly, let us in first, but ordered the food to be requested at 11 o'clock ??. In the Satay Klathak Pak Jede restaurant I ordered 2 portions of satay klathak and kicik, I wanted to order tengkleng, but it was not yet cooked. Satay klathak. The unique method of satay klathak meat is stabbed with iron bicycle bars (is new iron bars one) and burned like a regular satay, the sauce does not use peanut sauce or chili with sliced ​​red onion with sweet soy sauce. I went here to find Sate Klatak. A local delicacy where small piece of meat is skewered using thin metal skewers, resulting in perfectly cooked but tender meat. The skewer is served with coconut gravy similar to Lontong Sayur. The gravy is delicious, and the skewer a bit salty. Perfectly balanced with rice, like everything shoul be. I tried another one denoted Satay Goreng, and it is served with sweet soy sauce and equally delicious. The road to this place is narrow, so drive carefully or ise motorbike for convenience. Parking is available for car and bike, though.

Nice place to eat sate klathak in sleman. The meat not as big as others, but i love their sate hotplate

Maaaan, they got real nice goat meat satay. Unlike most well-known Indonesian satay served with peanut sauce and grilled with sweet soy sauce, "sate klathak" was grilled with savoury spices and served with some kind of spiced broth. The meat was so tender and the taste was so good. However, it was a bit pricey compared to typical sweet soy sauce glazed goat meat satay. We got 2 skewers of satay for IDR 25k, but in our opinion, it was totally worth the money.

Me and my friends were stuck on campus because of the rain. We thought about what to have for dinner when the rain stopped. One of my friends wanted satay. Finally we searched on maps and found this Sate Klathak JeDe. We ordered Sate Klathak, Sate Hotplate, Tongseng Meat and hot drinks. Everything is delicious! The meat is not tough and the gravy from the satay is fresh. Clean place and fast service. *sorry for forget to take a picture haha..

Yummy satay!! The place was quite large and clean. Easy to find and they have large parking area in the back of the resto building. It will be crowded at dinner time, but still okay cz the resto was spacious.

Incredible goat meat satay that we usually call it Klathak. It is similar to satay only bigger chunk of meat on a stick. Grilled with charcoal. My recommendation is the pure meat hot plate. They really can mix the meat with slight seasonings that bring out the meat taste without the unique stench of goat meat. If you are traveling in a bus the road is narrow but there is a bud parking zone.
