★ ★ ★ ★ ★ sate in blotongan is different with mostly sate you will find. they served in hot plate, very soft and tender meat, smells very nice, taste better than the smell. unfortunately you have to bring cash approx 50k idr for one person. this is a trouble when you are having dinner with 5 or more, maybe 10 person. they dont have edc. yes, this place is well known as rhoma irama (indonesian musician) sate and salatiga culinaire recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place located in the main road of salatiga city. The place itself is pretty spacious with a lot of seatings. Cleanliness is okay, downside of this place it can be very smoky as the smoke from the grill is filling the dining area. Maybe the ventilation can be improved.
For the meal itself, it is considered expensive for a traditional lamb satay. Thankfully the satay is very delicious, the meat is tender with very generous spices. Satay served on top of hot plate, with a unique sambal alongside it. Overall it is very worth to try if you ever visit salatiga.
