★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here at their opening time at 11, satay was ready at 11:30. They had room upstairs too. Never tried the Bali one, but this one felt a bit over rated. They offered two options: sweet, spicy and sweet. The spicy one was not that spicy. The meat was a bit hard, there was a lot of burnt parts here and there. Tasted not bad. Overall, it was disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sate Babi Bawah Pohon is a pork satay from Bali. If you are in Jakarta, you do not need to go that far to Bali in order to enjoy this satay, because they also available in Jakarta.
Since their speciality is pork satay, so I cannot miss to try the satay. I used food delivery service to order the food. I tried the special menu as the collaboration of Sate Babi Bawah Pohon x Beer Garden, that is Nasi Bali (IDR 63,000) that consists of nasi kemangi (white rice made with a kind of basil spices), crispy pork skins along with eight pork satay. The rice although it is made from some spices, but the smell and taste are not that strong. The pork satay is tender and well-grilled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time eating here. No need to go Bali. They already opened here since July 2018. Their Balinese Rice with sambal matah are nice, highly recommended. Open from 11 AM to 11 PM everyday. 2nd floor with air con only open from 5 PM to 11 PM.
