i normally go to this place around mid night and there still small crowd that go to this eatery area
they has plenty of padang style dishes
what you do just come to the worker there and point to the dishes that you want

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The itiak lady hijau is tasty. They have quite extensive range of delicious foods, namely gulai ikan, gulai gajebo, beef rendang and many more!
Writing this makes me drooling. You can also order the west sumatran desserts from shop next door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This food stall is one of the many similar stalls that line on the sidewalk of Kramat Raya Street, near Pasar Senen. In my opinion, the padang food there is authentic as they claim it as the real Nasi Kapau.
The price is not as expensive as in 'Sederhana Restaurants', but I think the taste is not so different.
One interesting feature of this restaurant is that it provides GOPAY as its payment method, which I adore dearly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Note for people with social anxiety or anxiety in general: There's too much pressure from aggressive restaurant salespersons around the area.
But this (Hj. Zaidar) place is one of if not the best padang food in Jakarta. You can feel the bold spices in their foods, rich in flavour, and really delicious. Not too expensive as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ small place but always crowded with people. many bold choices of food you can try..from simply egg to some that you need to collect your braveness because you don't know what is that. hot and spicy is the name. The only problem is the non stop street performance that in someway really gugs you out as you can not enjoy your mean peacefully. and sometimes, they don't go until you give money. better you come at night since it is just next to the buzzy street then you can manage at late or late at night.
