★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rumah Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara,atau disingkat Rupbasan adalah tempat menyimpan benda yang disita/dirampas oleh Negara untuk keperluan proses peradilan. Rupbasan didirikan pada setiap ibukota kabupaten atau kota, dan apabila perlu dapat dibentuk pula Cabang Rupbasan.Basan/Baran yang disimpan dalam Rupbasan adalah benda untuk keperluan barang bukti dalam pemeriksaan dalam tingkat penyidikan, penuntutan dan pemeriksaan di sidang pengadilan termasuk barang yang dinyatakan dirampas berdasarkan putusan hakim. Penggunaan benda sitaan bagi keperluan penyidikan, penuntutan dan pemeriksaan di pengadilan, harus ada surat permintaan dari pejabat yang bertanggungjawab secara juridis atas benda sitaan tersebut. Pengeluaran barang rampasan untuk melaksanakan putusan pengadilan yang telah memperoleh kekuatan hukum tetap, dilakukan atas permintaan jaksa secara tertulis. Pemusnahan barang rampasan dilakukan oleh jaksa, dan disaksikan oleh Kepala Rupbasan.Tugas pokok dan Fungsi berdasarkan pada Peraturan Menteri Kehakiman R.I No. M. 05. UM. 01. 06 tahun 1983
Confiscated Objects Storage home country, or abbreviated Rupbasan is a place to store objects confiscated / seized by the State for the purposes of judicial proceedings. Rupbasan is established in each regency or city capital, and if necessary Rupbasan Branch can also be formed. Basan / Baran stored in Rupbasan are objects for the purpose of evidence in the examination at the level of investigation, prosecution and examination at court including goods declared seized based on the decision judge. The use of property seized for the purposes of investigation, prosecution and examination in court, there must be a demand from the officer responsible juridically on the confiscated objects. Expenditures of booty to carry out court decisions that have obtained permanent legal force, are carried out at the request of the prosecutor in writing. Bertitik tolak dari ketentuan pasal 44 ayat (1) UU RI Nomor 8 Tahun 1981 tentang KUHAP yang menyatakan bahwa bend sitaan disimpan dalam rumah barang benda sitaan negara, yang selanjutnya dalam ketentuan Pasal 27 ayat (1) PP RI Nomor 27 tahun 1983 tentang pelaksanaan Kitab Undang – Undang Hukum Acara Pidana disebutkan dalam RUPBASAN ditempatkan benda yang harus disimpan untuk keperluan barang bukti dalam pemeriksaan dalam tingkat penyidikan, penuntutan, dan pemeriksaan di sidang pengadilan termasuk barang yang dinyatakan dirampas berdasarkan putusan hakim

In Rupbasan an object must be stored for the purposes of the evidence in the examination at the level of investigation, prosecution and examination in the court session including the items that are claimed to be seized based on the judge's decision.
The use of confiscated objects for the purpose of investigating, prosecuting and examining in court, must have a letter of request from the official who is legally responsible for the seized object. Spending of booty to carry out a court decision that has obtained permanent legal force, is carried out at the request of the prosecutor in writing. Destruction of booty was carried out by prosecutors, and witnessed by the Head of Rupbasan.
Starting from the provisions of article 44 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning the Criminal Procedure Code which states that confiscated dam is stored in a confiscated property of the state, which is furthermore in the provisions of Article 27 paragraph (1) PP RI Number 27 of 1983 concerning the implementation of the Book The Criminal Procedure Law mentioned in the RUPBASAN is placed an object that must be stored for the purposes of the evidence in the examination at the level of investigation, prosecution, and examination in a court hearing including items that are confiscated based on the judge's decision
