The Soto taste different from other Java region which more sweet than other soto.
Rice mixed inside soto will be cheaper than when its separated and they will also serve with other condiments like Sate telur puyuh which is not free.
Easy to find from the road and not crowded, the place can be quite hot as it only has fan

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Soto Ayam 61 is located in Malioboro, across Ramayana Department Store.
The soto is very delicious. I really enjoy eating this soto even without any other foods that are offered by the vendor like sate ayam, perkedel (shaped mashed potato), boiled eggs and krupuk. I love the soto alone.
One thing that I also like from Soto Ayam 61 is free of street musician. Different from angkringan, we enjoy food of Soto Ayam 61 indoor and they write on a small board a notice to forbid street musician coming into the outlet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most legendary Soto Place in town!!! I've been eating the Soto Ayam they sell since when I was a lil kid, yet the taste stay heavenly delicious and soup broth is somehow always taste refreshingly good.
You all gotta have to try it when you stroll around Malioboro Street. One of my very recommended place to eat Indonesian Food (SOTO)!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, fast service, delicious food! Place is clean enough, without AC. There is only soto ayam on menu. Soto is so tasty and yet so light. They will serve telur pindang, sate ayam and perkedel on the side. Be careful with the sambal kecap, as it it hot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legendary Chicken Soup for more than 40 years. The current taste is slightly different than in the past.
The brown boiled egg has very unique taste. Regardless the venue at prime location and the legend, the minuses are price too pricey especially for the side dish and portion is so small. We have to remember that It just a chicken soup.

Place is clean, taste is always good, never changed...They also have telur coklat, sate ayam,perkedel and otak goreng telur.This legendary soto is must to try in around Malioboro area.
