Sentralisasi pemotongan seperti ini, walaupun jauh dari kata ideal, cukup bagus. Dengan sentralisasi, mutu hasil potong mudah dipantau, dan jika diperlukan, dinas peternakan dapat memberi pengarahan. Limbah padat maupun cair ditangani dengan baik, tidak mencemari lingkungan. Bila ada penyakit, lebih mungkinkan untuk menghentikan penyebarannya.
Kompleks dilengkapi sistem pengolahan limbah cair, yang digunakan kembali untuk proses pemotongan. Sayang kualitas airnya dibawah standar. Pemotong mengeluhkan air yang berbau.
