★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rowo Jombor is a nature lake in the south Klaten (approx 10 km from the Klaten City). It offers the beautiful nature scenery. Look at to the south, beautiful "pegunungan seribu" is lining. To the North, if you're lucky and the sky is clear, you could see the Merapi and Merbabu Mountain. Along the way to this place, wide view of paddy's field are beautiful. Don't missed the seafood culinary visit at the various restaurant at the lake side. You'll get fresh fish fried, or cooked with various sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoying beautiful sunset in the Rowo Jombor. This view one of the best sunset in Klaten. You can see Warung Apung in there and invite your family to lunch or dinner. It's very recommended to relaxation with enjoying the nature. You can fishing and playing gethek or perahu too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the chance to visit the area during lunchtime. The view is quite good, with mobile bridges to go across the restaurants. There a lot of seafood restaurants, fisheries, and mini boat tours here. Recommend to visit at sunrise or sunset where the view would be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet memories with my family at this popular water reservoir in Jombor, Krakitan, Bayat District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. A good place in the area for family recreation, a boat trip, enjoying meals and fishing. There were good floating restaurants on one side, and I loved the one with free paddle boats and rowing boats, and the customers got fetched on a rope ferry raft. On my recent stop with my wife, there was an activity shift to the other side with food bars offering simple and popular dishes, snacks and drinks. There were large motor pontoon vessels with selfie photo backdrops on their roofs offering a trip around the reservoir. Minuses: there was no land selfie photo backdrop; locals used part of the reservoir to cultivate fish with nets.
