★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Roast Ketapang for the first time, and it was quite enjoyable! The environment of the place is quite unique and distinctive as it is located right next to the canal and you can sit outdoor for safer spot to hangout in this pandemic situation. The building gives modern-classic vibe in contrast to the other small office buildings (ruko) located in the same area nearby it. That outdoor sitting spot is undoubtedly perfect when you are visiting in the late afternoon to the sunset time.
The interior ambience is relatively comfortable and warm, although it is not as spacious as you thought it might be from the outside. The building itself has two levels (storeys) and Roast Ketapang occupies the first floor for serving their customers. The other is for other tenants.
What I enjoyed the most for me were the kind and polite peeps at Roast Ketapang when they are serving and welcoming us. They are kind enough suggesting us the recommended menus for coffees or non-coffee drinks as well as their other delicacies. My friend and I ordered the lemon pineapple jelly drink that tasted so fresh and very sweet and strawberry grain milk which had a yogurt-texture like. Both are definitely refreshing. We added that with donat kampung and their cookies, which tasted okay... and could be improved further. Those cost us around Rp89k, which I think subjectively was quite a lot for the foods and drinks only, but then maybe that was also the cost of enjoying the dining experience there.
All in all, it was a nice experience. Thank you Roast Ketapang, keep improving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good coffee in a nice location. The place is quite distanced from the main road, so the place is noise-free. The outdoor seating provides big umbrellas to give shade in the afternoon. I went here twice at around 12-1 PM and didn't get bothered by the afternoon heat. Nice place to hang out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the space and also their grain soy latte. Price wise still affordable and they also have outdoor seat, various snacks also available to enjoy with the beverages. The cashier will also give free parking stamp on the receipt. Overall good experience except for their toilet, which is terrible. So definitely will come back but can't stay for long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good coffee, great snacks, good ambience, good transit place for bikers. Fair price and strategically placed in city center with a lot of parking space for bikes and also cars. My only complaint is the main door, it’s very difficult opening it from the inside when you bring a tray full of food outside.
