★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by here for lunch on our way to Penangkaran Cariu. It was a modest self-service, buffet type dining place that served various Sundanese dishes. We had sop iga, soto ayam, tongkol balado, kentang balado, tahu goreng and a few other vegetable dishes for our meals. They were delicious. The price was also reasonable. Loved it! But what I love the most about the place is its ambience and the crew behind it. It shoothes a relaxing atmosphere that does good to your appetite. And the crew? Not only were they nice and friendly, but they are all women in their 40-ies and 50-ies. I think this warung is run by a group of women who work to provide for their families, to help them achieve better economic status, and to be independent financially. I love to support woman groups, especially this type of group. It feels a privilage to be able to contribute in their endeavor. So yes, I really enjoyed my lunch here. It feels good on any level: taste buds wise and ideology wise. Definitely recommend other people to come and visit.
