★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kelapa Gading Restaurant at Kertek District is the best seafood restaurant in Wonosobo Regency, with a modern, clean building, nice room decorations. It has clean toilets with bathroom sandals and a good musholla (moslem prayer room). It offers delicious foods with exclusive recipes, including those cooked using English & Thai sauces. Customers can also order yummy meatball (bakso) from the main building or come to a separate meatball shop (under the same management) at the corner. I and my wife knew this restaurant for the first time when we stayed at a nearby hotel in Kertek. We have tried almost all its dishes and beverages, including the meatball, and they are generally amazing. We have had special fried white noodle (bihun goreng special), which was surprisingly not so good, but another dish that we had - shrimp with Bangkok sauce (udang saus bangkok) was yummy as usual. The grilled duck was yummy but it could have been more spicy. The Thai tea was good. Just a suggestion: I think it needs a TV set with live broadcast in the main hall.
